Simple Kale Salad
A delicious & nutritious salad with only 5 ingredients!
- 1 bunch kale
- 1 tsp sea salt
- Juice of two lemons
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ¼ cup nutritional yeast
Destem the kale (save stems for juicing or smoothies). Break the leaves into large chunks and place in a bowl.
Add the sea salt and lemon juice to the bowl.
Massage kale leaves with hands for 3 to 5 minutes to break down the tough cellulose structure.
Add the olive oil to the bowl and mix to coat leaves.
Add the nutritional yeast to the bowl and mix to coat leaves. Enjoy!
